Nature of the Service

This is a private reference site. It stores no official arrest, court, jail, or corrections record and cannot confirm custody, release a person, file a request, or alter a government file. It identifies official Bartholomew County and Indiana resources and may connect visitors with outside research tools.

Indiana public-record access is controlled by the agency that maintains a record and applicable law, including IC 5-14-3. Nothing on this site changes an agency’s duties, exemptions, fees, or decisions.

Acceptable Use Rules

By using the site, you agree not to:

• stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm another person;

Bartholomew County Busted Mugshots is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not provide a background check, credit report, or consumer report. Its advertising and search partners do not offer screening services through this site. You agree not to use any material found here for:

• employment or personnel decisions;
• tenant or housing screening;
• creditworthiness or insurance pricing;
• licenses, permits, or government-benefit eligibility; or
• any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

Indiana IC 24-4-18 governs certain Internet criminal-history providers, but mentioning that law does not turn this reference site into an official record keeper or consumer reporting agency.

Links may lead to jail information, agency news, sheriff and corrections pages, government portals, legal-aid resources, or third-party searches. A link is not an endorsement. This site does not control an outside service’s content, privacy practices, prices, results, security, or availability. Review that provider’s own terms before using it.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that information is complete, accurate, current, uninterrupted, free from errors or security flaws, or that a partner search will return every relevant result. Custody and court status can change quickly. Nothing here is an official statement from BCSO, the Bartholomew County Jail, IDOC, or another agency.

Indiana Law Controls

Indiana law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Indiana.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be narrowed only as much as required. All remaining provisions continue in force.
